Job Description - Donut Production

Position Overview

Sandy's Donuts & Coffee Shop is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Donut Production staff member at our Sandy's Donuts West Fargo branch located in West Fargo, ND. This role is essential to our operations as it involves preparing and baking a variety of delicious donuts that will delight our customers. This position would be Saturday and Sunday 8 AM-4 PM.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and mix donut dough according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Execute proper portioning and shaping techniques to form donut products.
• Operate and maintain donut-making machinery and equipment.
• Ensure proper proofing, frying, and cooling of donuts.
• Safely handle and store ingredients while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the production area.
• Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines to ensure product quality and customer safety.
• Assist in donut decoration and finishing tasks to create visually appealing products.
• Package and label finished donuts in an efficient and accurate manner.
• Track production inventory and report any shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work area, including equipment, utensils, and surfaces.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and timely preparation of donuts.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation regulations.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions accurately.
• Dexterity to handle precise shaping and decoration tasks.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy bags of ingredients.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
